TOPIA provides a venue for current research in cultural studies in Canada and beyond. TOPIA publishes original, peer-reviewed research and theoretical essays on culture that are accessible to a wide readership in the humanities and social sciences, along with cultural and political debates, commentaries, interviews, and book reviews. TOPIA builds on critical traditions encompassing space, time, identity, and culture, while encouraging multiple regional, national, and transnational perspectives. TOPIA publishes two issues per year and is available by subscription in print and online.
